ChattanoogaCounselor.com, inc. was founded in 2008 by Tabi Upton, a local therapist who saw the need for mental health practitioners, social services, and ministries to have a comprehensive online resource center for the public.

In a moment of crisis or need, it’s a difficult thing to ask friends or co-workers for suggestions for clinicians or to search blindly through the Yellow Pages for help. We offer the ease of finding a great practitioner from the comfort of your own home or office computer, because we value your confidentiality needs.

There are many organizations and individuals in the greater Chattanooga area who are offering amazing services that are largely underutilized by the public. This site gives you the chance to highlight what you have to offer and invite people to take part in what may become a transformative process for them.

Any organization or support group can post events free of charge by simply contacting us via email. Simply put, we want the use of this site to be easy, fun, and uplifting.

Perks and Privileges

All members of ChattanoogaCounselor.com, Inc. are eligible to attend networking events free of charge. You may also write articles, be available for interviews on local radio and/or television, create book reviews at will, blog, and it is a great way to be found by fellow counselors and potential clients.

How to Join (This site can be used free of charge by the public.)

To become a member of ChattanoogaCounselor.com, inc. simply print out one of the packets below and mail it back to us. If you are an individual clinician, please fill out the packet marked “INDIVIDUAL” and include a photograph and copy of your degree/license. Counseling practices of two or more may fill out the “GROUP” packet. Churches and similar organizations will fill out the “ORGANIZATION” packet.

You’ll be pleased to know that a pop out page on our site is much more affordable than advertising in a newspaper or local magazine. In addition, you will have worldwide exposure throughout the internet. Click on the type of packet you need as a member to download the PDF.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

ChattanoogaCounselor.com, Inc. seeks to provide individuals in greater Hamilton County
with a quality website where resources in the following venues can be accessed:
counseling and psychiatric services, social services/non-profits with a focus on marriage
and family enrichment, faith-based options, and nutrition and fitness referrals.
In addition, it seeks to provide articles, book reviews, question and answer columns,
seminars, and relevant cyber links to other websites that can provide additional self-help information.
